What we build - Products
Consulting surfaces problems. When the same problem keeps appearing across customers, we stop solving it engagement by engagement — and build a product instead.

4chems.com
4chems.com is a managed cloud platform for EU chemical compliance teams. It hosts IUCLID, Chesar, IIP, and QSAR as a ready-to-use service — no installation, no version management, no server maintenance. Compliance professionals get a fast, secure, always-current environment they can access from anywhere. IT teams get one less thing to worry about.
The product was born directly out of consulting work: while supporting organizations with their REACH and CLP compliance processes, we kept running into the same problem — teams spending days on tool setup, updates, and infrastructure instead of the actual compliance work. We built 4chems.com to eliminate that overhead entirely.
What it includes
- IUCLID 6 — the European Chemicals Agency’s substance data management tool, pre-configured and ready to use
- Chesar — chemical safety assessment and reporting, integrated and up-to-date
- QSAR Toolbox — structure-activity relationship analysis, running on optimized cloud infrastructure
- IIP — industry input portal support, configured for EU REACH workflows
- Automatic updates — always on the latest official releases, no manual patching
- EU-based hosting — GDPR-compliant infrastructure, data never leaves the EU
Who it is for
Regulatory affairs teams, toxicologists, safety data specialists, and compliance consultants who work with EU REACH, CLP, or OECD frameworks — and want to focus on compliance, not infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Have a different question and can't find the answer you're looking for? Reach out to our support team by sending us an email and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
- Where do your products come from?
- Every product we’ve built started as a recurring problem we hit during consulting engagements. When we kept solving the same infrastructure or compliance challenge for different clients, we productized the solution. That origin means our products address real, documented pain—not hypothetical needs someone thought might exist.
- What products do you currently offer?
- Our flagship product is 4chems.com—a managed cloud platform that hosts IUCLID, Chesar, and QSAR for EU chemical compliance teams. It eliminates the tool setup, version management, and server maintenance burden that compliance teams face constantly. We add products to the portfolio when we’ve validated them through consulting work first.
- How is using a product different from hiring you as a consultant?
- A product is self-service—you subscribe, onboard in minutes, and use it without our ongoing involvement. Consulting is embedded engagement where we work directly with your team. Products make sense when the problem is well-defined and our solution maps cleanly to your need. Consulting makes sense when the problem is complex, specific to your context, or still evolving.
- Can I suggest a problem that might become a product?
- Yes—and some of our best ideas come from exactly this. If you’re dealing with a recurring compliance, infrastructure, or workflow problem and suspect it’s not unique to your organization, we’d like to hear about it. We track unmet needs across our consulting base and sometimes partner with early customers to co-develop solutions.
- Who maintains and supports the products?
- We do—the same team that built them. There’s no outsourced support tier. For 4chems.com, that means someone who understands the IUCLID toolchain and EU compliance context answers your questions, not a generic helpdesk. Support is included in the subscription, not an add-on.
- How do your products handle data security and privacy?
- Data sovereignty is a hard requirement in the compliance and regulated industries we build for. Our current products are hosted on EU infrastructure, GDPR-compliant by design, and never transmit data outside the EU. For teams with stricter requirements, we discuss private or air-gapped deployment options.
